Located in Chicago’s East Village Landmark District, an historic four unit apartment building was deconverted to accommodate three more spacious units. An insulated concrete form addition houses three new units to create a total of six contemporary apartments.

Both structures are super insulated to significantly reduce energy consumption, and a geothermal system provides heating and cooling. The building is Energy Star Certified.
